Beach Advisory Email Notifications

Beach Advisories are issued at some of the Wisconsin state beaches along the Great Lakes. Advisories are to notify the public when a beach is open, closed or a warning has been issued that it might be dangerous to swim. Warnings and closures indicate it might be dangerous to swim. Contact your local county health department for more information. (See links on the left for websites and phone numbers). You can have the advisories emailed to you for a particular beach whenever a new advisory is issued. The Wisconsin beach season usually runs from late May to early September.

Sign up for one beach at a time. If you wish to sign up for a large number of beaches, email: beachhealth@usgs.gov for assistance.
